We strive to build enthusiasm and empower students to take ownership for their own learning. Our scholastic plan is based on inquiry and curiosity, which locates learning in the midst of a wide and balanced curriculum. We believe that learning must have purpose, and needs to equip students for life in the 21st century.

Skills for the 21st century

Our school values inquiry, determination, teamwork, and respect; and these principles are built into every aspect of our curriculum. These, together with active learning, aim to prepare students for life-long learning and to make a positive contribution to society. We believe that perseverance, imagination, motivation, adaptability, reflectiveness, curiosity, communication, and principles are essential for the growth of our students.

Relevant education

Relevant education

Instead of focusing only on lecture-style classes, our teachers create dynamic, relevant, and discussion-based content which offers students practical skills in situations both inside and outside of the classroom. Many lessons include videos of real children speaking about topics relevant to their daily lives. We also get high school students involved in something they already love; social networks. By providing a very large body of materials, classes are always interesting!

Bringing ideas to life

Bringing ideas to life

Using a philosophy of working alongside students in this stage of their development, we create our students' study plan based on their own interests. Projects like writing a novel or building a website are an integral part of their normal school day. We also create space for students to discover new interests. Students, themselves, plan off-campus field trips such as visits to local companies and parks; and undertake projects like creating a podcast or even their own startups! As students explore their individual interests, their teachers support them in bringing their ideas to life.
