Every day, our students undertake self-directed study and challenging projects, working with partners and in small groups. They learn to work together to solve problems in a respectful and effective manner - a critical skill for a successful life, and to flourish in the digital age.
Students choose their projects together with their teachers, learning to establish goals, challenge themselves, and tackle complex problems. Every student practices leadership and responsibility while developing a mentorship role for younger students, caring for the school environment, and participating meaningfully in solving classroom issues.
Challenging academic work inspires students to rise to it, master difficult skills, and develop a broad base of fundamental knowledge. Within this framework, we provide careful attention and support to every student to motivate them to pursue their own objectives and go beyond the achievements of a typical curriculum.
Elementary students exist in a stage of growing physical independence and are ready to transition into a somewhat more independent and reflective life. We make great use of this stage to allow students - together with their teachers - to choose and organize their own work. Our students come to create, understand, structure, and integrate their learning objectives; working both independently and in groups, and excelling in critical thought and abstract creative work.
Our students completed an important stage in their lives, they graduated from elementary school. A cycle in which they shared with their friends, learned new knowledge, created great projects and mainly, learned how learning and happiness go hand in hand.
